Biography
Hailing from Oakland, California, Feral Ohms deliver raw, primal, high-speed rock & roll that draws equally from '70s hard rock, punk, and Japanese noise-rock. Guitar and vocals fall to Ethan Miller of Comets on Fire and Howlin Rain, drums to Chris Johnson of Drunk Horse and Sir Lord Von Raven, and bass to Josh Haynes of Nudity. The trio formed in 2011; their debut appearance came two years later with the "Living Junkyard 7" single on Valley King Records. Agitated Records followed with "Super Ape" in 2014. Alternative Tentacles released the group's version of the Damned's "I Fall" as a single in 2016, and later that year Feral Ohms contributed a volume to Castle Face's Live in San Francisco series. Their self-titled debut studio album arrived five months afterward, in March 2017.
