Biography
Around 1979 the rock band Fictions came together in Toronto, Canada. Its lineup included guitarists Vince Kavcic and W.S. Sherman, bassist Greg Stephens, drummer Vince Huecking, keyboardist Tom Treumuth, and saxophonist Simon Stone. In the course of the group’s brief existence it issued a pair of two-sided singles featuring the songs “I Let Go,” “Won’t Wash Away,” “Snob Appeal,” and “Better,” as well as one self-titled full-length album; every one of these recordings appeared in 1980 on the Hypnotic Records label.
