Biography
Originating from the Bay Area, rapper Fidel Castro—also known as the Playa Dictator—grew up in Vallejo, California. He first appeared in music as part of the obscure collective Raw Deal, later joining the Bay Rider label in a talent-scouting role ahead of his solo debut on the 1999 album Absolute Power.
