Biography
Filet of Soul, an Athens, Georgia folk-rock ensemble, originated in 1996 when vocalist Adam Beadles teamed with his brother Greg on guitar; the later arrival of drummer Cornelius Freeman and bassist Randy Freeman completed the lineup and solidified the quartet’s self-described “acoustic-based funk/pop” approach, which yielded the six-song cassette The King Street Demos in 1997 before the full-length Incommunicado appeared the next year.
