Among Justin Broadrick's numerous concurrent endeavors such as Godflesh, Ice, Techno Animal, and Painkiller, Final remains his solitary solo outlet. The project centers on ominous cosmic soundscapes akin to those explored in Bill Laswell's productions for Axiom Dub and Subharmonic. It originated in 1993 through the album One, released via Subharmonic. Three years afterward arrived the inevitable follow-up 2, with The First Millionth of a Second surfacing on Manifold in 1997. Broadrick has further supplied remixes for material connected to David Kristian.
