Biography
Born to Irish fiddler Ted Furey, his sons Finbar and Eddie gained prominence throughout the 1960s. A flamboyant and forceful uillean piper, Finbar secured his first all-Ireland championship at age 15, whereas Eddie works as a singer and guitarist. Though both performed with the Furey Brothers and Davey Arthur, the recordings they issued simply as a duo remain their most charming.
