The Tegelman brothers—Pekka on guitars, bass, and drums, joined by Jussi on drums—fronted this Finnish ensemble of the 1970s. Drawing inspiration from Mahavishnu Orchestra, the musicians delivered serviceable yet unremarkable jazz fusion. Keyboardist Jukka Rissanen appeared on their self-titled debut, the release that leaned furthest toward prog rock. By the sessions for their second album, Lahto Matkalle (1976), he had departed, leaving Jukka Linkola and Peretti Pokki to handle dual keyboard duties. The group’s last outing, Demonnights (1979), proved simultaneously its most jazz-focused effort and its least distinctive, with a sound that grew ever closer to Weather Report. Added personnel on that record included second guitarist Jari Rissanen, saxophonists Heikki Keskinen and the famous Juhani Aaltonen, bassist Tuomo Helin, and keyboardist Jarmo Savolainen.
