Biography
Originating from Singapore, Firebrands functions as an alternative rock ensemble distinguished by the presence of a turntablist. The group formed in 2005 and unites eXe on vocals from Singapore, Roman Tarassov on guitar from Moscow, Russia, Ghost on bass from Singapore, Jackin Pousson on drums from Louisiana in the United States, and Doctor Mix on turntables from Singapore. Their first album, First the Flash Then the Pulse, arrived in 2006 and yielded the single "Scarecrow and the Fire." Headquartered in Singapore, the band conducts international tours that reach venues in Taiwan, India, Dubai, and the United States.
