Biography
The sole album and sole chart entry by vocal quintet First Circle came under the production of Brass Construction's Randy Muller, whose credits include the R&B chart-topper "Movin'." Albert Lee handled lead vocals alongside Larry Marsden, Glenn "Chango" Everette, Anthony McEwan, and Richard Sinclair. Spring 1987 saw the release of their energetic 45 "Workin' Up a Sweat" backed with "You're on My Mind," which reached position 49 on the R&B listings. Having previously guided Salsoul roster members Raphael Cameron and Skyy to hits, Muller oversaw the April 1987 EMI America long-player Boys' Night Out. "Miracle Worker" followed as the next single, and both tracks later gained value among collectors.
