A four-piece Canadian heavy rock outfit came together in 1978 under the leadership of singer and guitarist Ron Chenier. Following repeated early setbacks and repeated shifts in personnel, the group settled into a stable configuration that included Chenier alongside keyboardist Laurie Curry, bassist Bob Moffat and drummer Bob Patterson. Drawing inspiration from Triumph, Rush and Led Zeppelin, the band issued five albums of solid but unremarkable hard rock from 1979 through 1985, of which the 1983 release In The Red emerged as their most accomplished effort. That record showcased the gifted Dave McDonald taking lead vocals in place of Chenier, whose voice fell short in both range and power. To sidestep any mix-ups with the British band Fist, the same albums appeared in European markets under the alternate name Myofist.
