Biography
Five Easy Pieces, an alternative pop outfit, took shape with vocalist Schwartz and guitarist Jason as its core. Several years of live performances later, the pair added drummer Matt Luneau and bassist Darren Embry to solidify the rhythm section, then secured a contract with MCA Records. Working alongside producer Don Smith, the band delivered its self-titled debut album in June 1998.
