Flavour, also recognized professionally as Flavour N'abania, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter whose international breakthrough arrived in 2010 through the breakout singles "Nwa Baby (Ashawo Remix)" and "Oyi (Remix)" from his second album Uplifted. Across later projects such as the 2014 release Thankful and the 2017 album Ijele the Traveler, his signature blend of highlife and Afro-beat—frequently delivered in his native Igbo—kept generating chart successes and established him as a major touring attraction across the continent.

Chinedu Okoli was born in Enugu, Nigeria. A multi-instrumentalist from the outset, he began his musical journey performing drums within a local church choir. During his late teens he started working as a paid drummer while simultaneously teaching himself piano. His growing presence on the Enugu circuit connected him with area producers who guided him in production techniques and arrangement, accelerating his shift from supporting musician to lead performer. Under the stage name Flavour N'abania he issued his first album, N'abania, in 2005. That bright fusion of Igbo highlife and Afro-beat achieved modest commercial traction and introduced listeners to the track "Nwa Baby."

Five years afterward the remixed version of "Nwa Baby" appeared on Flavour’s sophomore effort Uplifted, which achieved widespread popularity throughout Nigeria and additional regions of Africa. Now attached to 2nite Entertainment, the album gained further exposure through featured appearances by Jay Dey and Oloye together with Flavour’s incorporation of calypso, reggae, R&B, and hip-hop elements. His third full-length, 2012’s Blessed, emphasized collaborative work and involved multiple producers plus guest artists including Masterkraft and Fally Ipupa. Two years later the expansive twenty-two-track Thankful reassembled many of those same production voices and sustained his regional dominance. The surprise 2017 release Ijele the Traveler yielded yet another hit, "Baby Na Yoka." The following year he joined blind Liberian singer Semah for the collaborative EP Divine, and in 2019 he teamed with Otigba Agulu on the EP Ubi Ego.
