Biography
Despite Atlanta, Georgia seeming an improbable origin for a Euro disco-pop act, Floraline dispels that assumption outright. Merging 80's new wave retro touches with 70's groove rhythms and the sweet vocals of Linda Sharp, the band drew notice from Chicago's Minty Fresh Records, which issued their self-titled debut in 1999. Resemblances to Blondie, Komeda, and the Cardigans arise almost unavoidably.
