Like many figures tied to Berlin's Hardwax circle of labels, the Greek producer Fluxion—real name Konstantinos Soublis—cultivated a deliberately low profile even while issuing several striking downtempo experimental techno records for Chain Reaction. Those expansive works, shaped in part by the clicks-and-cuts aesthetic associated with Vladislav Delay, found their strongest representation on the pair of Vibrant Forms collections that appeared in 1999 and 2000. Fluxion also put out occasional EPs via his own Vibrant Music imprint and delivered the full-length Spaces in 2001. After several years of inactivity he returned with a more assertive sound on the 2009–2010 outings Constant Limber for Resopal and Perfused for Echocord. He stayed with Echocord for the subsequent Traces and Broadwalk Tales albums, while Type handled a reissue of the original Vibrant Forms set. In 2016 Fluxion shifted to Subwax BCN, which re-pressed Vibrant Forms II and introduced the fresh Vibrant Forms III.
