Folio

Brent Meyer and Chris Willshire established the Los Angeles-based band Folio in 2004, merging the intense drive of modern rock acts such as Interpol and the Killers with the retro, keyboard-centric textures of new wave ensembles like Duran Duran and Depeche Mode. They next tracked material alongside seasoned contributors including drummer Joey Waronker (Paul McCartney, R.E.M., Beck), guitarist Lyle Workman (Sting, Frank Black), and analog synth god Roger Manning (Jellyfish), targeting a 2007 release for the resulting recordings. Meyer, Willshire, guitarist Michael King, and drummer Danny Johnston comprise the present roster.
