Biography
What began as a solo venture for singer/songwriter Dennis Sheridan gradually took shape as the Louisville, KY indie rock collective Follow the Train, coalescing in 2004 around Sheridan together with drummer Andrew Hurt, bass player Bill Green, and keyboardist Angela Green. The seven-song Great Disturbance EP appeared that same year on the local Debauchery label, with the band’s first full-length release, Breath of Sigh, following in 2006 on San Diego-based Darla Records. Produced by ex-Elliott member Kevin Ratterman and tracked inside a funeral home, Sigh also incorporated guest appearances from Jim James of My Morning Jacket and Meredith Noel of los Debutantes.
