Biography
Hailing from San Luis Potosí, Mexico, los Forasteros de San Luis began their career by interpreting material first made popular by José Alfredo Jiménez and Leo Dan. The norteño quintet, distinguished by its sax and accordion sound and fronted by vocalist Leo Medrano, secured a contract with Univision Music Group and introduced itself through the album Mi Amigo y Yo, which contained the hit single "El Ilegal."
