Biography
In 1982 the American melodic rock outfit Fortnox put out a single April Wine-influenced album that proved rather disappointing and then vanished from sight. The band’s roster had settled by studio time into Joel Shipp on bass and vocals, Rick Fowler on guitar and vocals, and Nathan De Foor on drums, all working under renowned producer Chris Tsangarides. Although the players showed clear instrumental command, their songwriting never found a consistent sense of purpose. No additional material ever appeared, leaving Fortnox consigned to the rock vaults.
