Biography
Prior to securing their contract with Benson Records, the CCM ensemble Forty Days—comprising Mark Warren, Joel Warren, Brian Barth, Chris Foster, and Drue Phillips—had already built a regional following in Dallas, TX. Established in 1995, the group issued two independent projects and appeared at live events throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Georgia, and Tennessee. An introduction to Third Day frontman Mac Powell ultimately secured the band’s recording agreement. Their first release, Everyday, came out in 2000.
