Four Square

Genre: Pop
Origin: U.S.A

Having already navigated the music business, Four Square took shape gradually after starting out as an acoustic solo endeavor drawn from earlier projects. Trevor MacGregor, who had previously played drums in both Wagbeard and Treble Charger, came aboard on the kit. Guitarist Allan Shaw arrived with his own background in Two Line Filler. The lineup then added bassist Danny Evans and production specialist Simon Head, resulting in a lively power pop outfit. A grant awarded in 2000 enabled the group to complete its first recording. When Weeks Were Weekends appeared on Ducttape Records in February 2002. Produced by Ian Blurton, the album received its initial exposure at Canadian Music Week 2002.
