Biography
After departing the Mad Brothers, singer/guitarist Frank Ellis launched Bay Area rock band Frankie's Dream. Percussionist John Hasty came along from that earlier group, and Ellis then recruited guitarist, singer, and songwriter Steve Keating along with bassist and backup vocalist Randy McGowan. The band developed a regional audience in northern California before releasing its first album, It Comes in Waves, on Fig Records in 2004. Singer and lead guitarist Norman Collins joined shortly afterward, expanding the lineup to a quintet.
