Biography
Franz Lehrndorfer held the post of organist at Munich Cathedral from 1969 through 2003 while also directing the Department of Organ and Catholic Liturgical Music at Munich Conservatory and establishing a School of Organ in the same city. Marking both the cathedral’s 500th anniversary and his own 25th year in the role, he introduced a newly built instrument through a performance that was included on The Concert for Celestial Harmonies. He likewise supplied tracks to the collection Celestial Christmas 5.
