Biography
Born and deceased in the USA, Fred and Gertrude Gossett put traditional country numbers on disc for Columbia Records, among them ‘Go Bury Me’. They also captured ‘All The Good Times Are Past And Gone’, a melody folk singers and assorted interpreters have returned to repeatedly across the decades. Their 1930 version appears to mark the earliest recording of this widely circulated air.
