Biography
Fred Fredburguer channels bouncy, melodic indie pop that spotlights the catchy core inside their distorted pop-punk approach. The Spanish outfit delivered their first full-length effort, New Adventures in Pop, in 2020.
Guitarist Alba and drummer Fernando launched the project in Madrid. Mid-2016 brought bass player Olaya Pedrayes of Axolotes Mexicanos and a second guitarist named Miguel, who joined as a friend. In 2018 the group revised its roster when Fernando’s brother Raúl assumed bass duties, Raúl’s partner Elena took over on drums, and Fernando moved to second guitar.
Following their signing to Elefant Records, Fred Fredburguer issued the debut single “Colegas” in November 2019 and followed it one month later with the Christmas-themed “No Hay Muchos Regalos (Pero A Mí Me Da Igual).” The summery, eight-song New Adventures in Pop reached listeners in mid-2020.
