Biography
In 1929 Chicago, blues vocalist Freddy Brown recorded her only two sides, though it remains unknown whether she resided in the city at the time. The same uncertainty applies to the piano playing on her Texas-influenced blues tracks "Raised In The Alley" and "Whip It To A Jelly," leaving open the question of whether she supplied her own accompaniment.
