Biography
The psychedelic country rock ensemble Frownland coalesced around guitarist Kurt Eizner, a veteran of the 90's dream pop outfit Mazzy Star. Drummer Pam Barger, bassist Sean Wheatley, guitarist Paul Hutzler, and vocalist Patrice rounded out the lineup, with Seattle serving as the group's base. After refining their abilities locally over time, the musicians captured Positively Frown Street during spring 2002 before issuing the album later that summer.
