Blending polished rhythmic flows with expansive rock textures while spotlighting a standout vocal presence from Alison Scola (vocals) and Krista Tortora, Full Blown Kirk produces distinctive fusions of electronic music laced with trip-hop and industrial edges. Completing the roster of the Kent, OH, ensemble, founded in 1995, are Jack Velvet Randall (guitar), Joe Minadeo (keyboards), and Dave Braun (drums). What began as a partnership between Minadeo and Tortora quickly grew into a full band intent on shaping dynamic, high-impact examples of vivid electronica. The group unveiled its opening recording in 1997, the EP Faiza, which earned strong commercial traction alongside glowing press notices. Two years later the outfit captured its debut album, Zero Day, which reached stores in 1999.
