Biography
Hailing from New Jersey, the short-lived skate-core outfit Full Speed Ahead assembled around vocalist Mike Castlebury, guitarists Mike Schweigert (also of psych-garage merchants Lord Sterling) and DJ Values, bassist Will Suicide, and drummer Pete Speedersen. Taking cues from Black Flag and Negative Approach, the group issued several 7" singles yet managed to commit only one full-length album to tape—Born to Lose—which remained unreleased until 2004, years after the band had already dissolved.
