Biography
In 1998 the Argentinean death metal/black metal foursome Furcas originated when drummer Ernesto Fossati (also known as Sir Nacho), guitarist Fernando de Maio (aka Deforme), and singer Rodrigo García (aka Tortu Chakal) assembled and promptly began writing original songs rooted in Nietzche's philosophy. Bassist Lars Rosenberg, formerly of the Scandinavian metal bands Therion, Entombed, and Monastery, came aboard in March of 2000. Furcas first appeared on the compilation Especies En Distorsión with the tracks "El Ocaso de los Dioses" and "Senderos de Dolor."
