Biography
Gabriel Bello, a smooth jazz saxophonist and vocalist shaped by gospel and soul, directs his talents toward instrumental R&B. His birth occurred in Lawrence, Massachusetts, during 1980, after which he spent his childhood in Florida, participating in church choir activities alongside his saxophone studies. Enrolled in the music program at Lee University located in Cleveland, Tennessee, he received a Hodgkins disease diagnosis that prompted a six-month chemotherapy hiatus from his studies. Once his lymphoma entered remission, Bello resumed his performances and issued his debut album, which bore his own name, during 2011.
