Gabriel Day

Gabriel Day, an American minister and rapper, conveys religious teachings via candid verses drawn from hardship. Transforming episodes from a difficult early life into encouraging statements about belief and optimism, he entered music during the 2010s and delivered three albums—The Message, Signs, and Church—before the decade closed.

Born in Rome, New York and residing in Columbus, Ohio, Day grew up surrounded by church life yet drifted into hustling, drugs, and drinking as a youth. A profound realization redirected him toward God, prompting him to mine prior events only for lessons embedded in his tracks. He surfaced in 2013 with the debut album The Message, which Tate Music Group reissued in 2014. After launching a firm devoted to concerts, events, and community outreach, he issued Signs in 2017. Marked by bass-heavy contemporary production, the album featured appearances by Marquita Lyles, Schuyler Johnson, Jodie Jermaine, and additional guests. Signed to IndieBlu Music by 2019, Day released Church, which secured his initial Billboard placement inside the Heatseekers Top Ten and within the Top 30 of both the Independent and R&B/Hip-Hop charts.
