Biography

Emerging after the Halifax pop explosion had run its course, Galore—a Toronto outfit—shares stylistic affinities with Velvet Crush, the Beatles, and David Bowie. Barry Walsh, once of Cool Blue Halo, anchors the lineup alongside alumni of the Waltons and the Grace Babies. The group has performed at various industry showcases, among them a July 2001 slot at the International Pop Overthrow Festival in Los Angeles. Still gigging regularly, they issued their debut EP, Pilot Light.
