Biography
Gemitaiz, born Davide De Luca, and Madman, born Pierfrancesco Botrugno, already maintained separate solo careers as Italian rappers before joining forces for the 2011 mixtape Haterproof. Their chemistry held up strongly enough for a quick follow-up, the 2012 EP Detto, Fatto, which included Ensi among its guests. The pair then moved to the Tanta Roba label under Universal Music distribution and delivered their first proper studio album, the urgent Kepler, in 2014. That release connected immediately and kept its momentum, entering Italy’s Classifica FIMI chart at number one and reaching gold status inside two months.
