Biography
Born in Baltimore during 1950, Gene Rice built a career as a contemporary soul singer. The 1991 arrival of his debut album Just for You, fueled by the R&B hit "You're Gonna Get Served," secured both favorable critical notices and a position on the R&B charts. A self-titled release appeared in 1993, yet it proved to be his final project with RCA.
