Biography
The synth-pop duo Gentlemen of Leisure pairs vocalist Deiter Mueller with Karl Heinz, whose duties encompass programming, instrumentation, and vocals. First encountering each other in Berlin clubs throughout Germany, the musicians later settled in California to capture their self-titled 2001 album. Its lean electronic pop-rock textures evoke the eighties while centering on English-language material.
