Biography
Even amid the conflicts that marked Deep Purple’s fluctuating membership, former colleagues Ian Gillan on vocals and Roger Glover handling bass and synth maintained a positive relationship throughout the decades. Their 1988 joint effort produced the standalone release Accidentally on Purpose, giving the pair an opportunity to venture into diverse musical approaches apart from the established hard rock sound they were known for.
