Biography
Ginette Reno first performed publicly at a Montreal marketplace where her father was employed. Several years of vocal training preceded the release of her debut single toward the end of the 1960s. The song "Beautiful Second Hand Man" registered as a big hit in Canada in 1970. More than twenty-five albums issued by Reno between 1968 and 1991 encompass the self-titled debut Ginette Reno à la Comedie-Canadienne (1969), Beautiful Second Hand Man (1971), Touching Me, Touching You (1972), The Best of Ginette Reno (1975), Trying to Find a Way (1979), En Concert (1983), Ne M'En Veut Pas (1988), Compilation (1990) and L'Essentiel (1991).
