Biography
As an Italian composer and cellist, Cirri produced music bearing a close resemblance to that of Boccherini. Enigmatic harmonies shaped his style, and the cello served as the primary focus for most of his output. His catalog encompasses duos, sonatas, concerto and quartets. He studied and performed in Bologna before relocating first to Paris and later to London. Cirri joined the Bach-Abel concerts, supplying cello interludes between operas on numerous occasions.
