Biography
Forming a pop-punk quartet in San Francisco, Girl Band featured guitarists Shelley Cardiff and Lynda Mandolyn, drummer Christa DiBiase, and bassist Erica Liss, the last of whom had previously played in MDC. Every member handled vocals. In 2007 the band issued its self-titled album, a set noticeably more pop-oriented than earlier projects tied to its musicians while still preserving a sharp edge, audible in the cover of the Misfits song “London Dungeon.” Removing Cardiff, the remaining members subsequently launched SorryEverAfter, which delivered an EP in 2012.
