Biography
Formed in 2011 in Kleve, Germany, the deathcore duo Goatblood centers on Satanic Death Vulva, who supplies lead vocals, guitars, and bass, alongside Reverend Slayer, who handles vocals and drums. The pair, who term their approach "Ritual Occult Goat Metal," captured their opening 7" in 2012 with the tracks "Invocation of Doom" and "Sadistic Body Rites." Their first studio album, Adoration of Blasphemy and War, arrived in 2015; the next year brought both the EP Nekro Rituals and a split LP titled Supremacia de Satanas, shared with the Ecuadorian blackened metal outfit Nihil Domination. Early 2017 saw the release of the duo's second full-length, Veneration of Armageddon.
