Biography
After issuing three albums as the jazz-rock trio Edison With the Weather, the group adopted the name Goodbye Girl Friday in 2001. Its first release under the revised identity, the album Mr. and Mrs., arrived in 2002 on SUS4 Recordings. Songwriter/vocalist/keyboardist Dave Sherman, bassist Dan Grennes, and drummer Andy Sanesi—all Berklee alumni—formed the lineup, which made its home in New York and appeared at both local and regional venues.
