Biography
Gorerotted captured attention across England through the shocking and ferocious nature of its gore metal. Drawing from pioneering acts like Carcass and Macabre, the band established underground credibility through the 1998 demo Her Gash Did I Slash prior to delivering its widely discussed first full-length Mutilated in Minutes via Relapse in 2002. European metal publications praised the record highly, as evidenced by Terrorizer magazine ranking it seventh among the greatest "gore" albums ever. Beyond critical acclaim, the group performed at various European metal festivals of note, such as Fuck the Commerce, Obscene Extreme, and the X-Treme Justice Festival.
