British songwriter Graham de Wilde scored a British Top Ten placement in 1981 via the novelty track "Wikka Rap," which Coolio later sampled in 1995. While his primary output has centered on jingles for radio ads commissioned by BMW, IBM, Volvo, Kodak, and Ford, alongside film scores for Medicine Man, Hope It Rains, The Ultimate Package, and Hollywood Women, de Wilde has continued to perform. In 1995 he issued the solo instrumental album Airborne.

He began writing jingles in the early '70s and established his own production company before the decade closed. As a sought-after arranger, de Wilde contributed to projects by British comedian Spike Mulligan and heavy metal band Angra.
