Biography
Formed in Norway, the duo Green Isac consists of Morten Lund, who contributes keyboards, guitar, and flute, alongside his colleague Andreas Eriksen, a percussionist known for his inventive approach and expertise in African and Arabic rhythms. Beginning their discography with the releases Strings and Pottery in 1991 and Happy Endings in 1992, the pair issued Groundrush in early 2001 through Spotted Peccary. They maintained their association with this label in subsequent years, producing Etnotronica in 2004, Passengers in 2014, and Green Isac Orchestra in 2015. For the last of these, the original pair of Lund and Eriksen expanded to include Frode Larsen, Tov Ramstad, and Jo Wang.
