Biography
Hailing from Los Angeles, singer-songwriter Greg Copeland issued his debut record on Geffen Records during the opening years of the 1980s, the Jackson Browne-produced Revenge Will Come. Copeland later supplied the track “Candy” to Browne’s Lives in the Balance album and composed the Central America protest standard “El Salvador,” later recorded by Peter, Paul & Mary and Joan Baez. More than twenty-five years after that first release, he returned in 2008 with his follow-up album, Diana and James, which appeared on Browne’s Inside Recordings imprint.
