Biography
Hailing from South Africa, Greg Dean works as an R&B-focused songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist under the alternate name GB Collective. Known for frequent partnerships, he contributed to several major domestic successes such as Black Coffee's "Even Though" and Bantu Soul's "Having You Around," while also lending support to more than a dozen additional performers. Following the 2013 GB Collective release Collective Conscience, Dean crafted polished, elegant R&B alongside respected American talents including Eric Roberson, Chantae Cann, and Jarrod Lawson. The resulting ballad-heavy set appeared in Japan through Sweet Soul and in the U.S. through Purpose under the title The Greg Dean Project, yet surfaced in the U.K. through Dome as Unconditional Love, reaching listeners across those three markets in the opening months of 2016.
