Biography
Greg Summerlin, a singer and songwriter based in Alabama, performed as lead guitarist for the Quinsonics during the middle and later years of the 1990s before issuing his first solo project, a self-titled album, in 2003. Drawing from sources that span the Who and the Replacements through New Order and Radiohead, his next two releases—Young Meteors (2005) and All Done in Good Time: The Life and Times of Polly Shields (2007)—earned recognition from both reviewers and buyers. He also created and operates the respected Southeast independent imprint Superphonic Records.
