Biography
Greg Wyard entered the world in England before relocating to Montreal at thirteen, emerging from a household steeped in music. Upon completing secondary education, he shifted to Ottawa, where he initially worked as a supporting musician before stepping out as a solo performer. The year 1995 saw him establishing a three-piece group that included Todd Huckabone and his sibling Nick Wyard. His debut full-length recording, The First, came out in 1998 and garnered airplay across the region. February 2001 brought a third-place finish in a songwriting contest held in Toronto, coming shortly after the issuance of his follow-up effort Something I Made Up. Additional stage appearances have paired him with Wild Strawberries and Damnhait Doyle.
