Biography
Grim Skunk originated in 1988 immediately after the breakup of Montreal hard-core band Fatal Illness. The ensemble delivered its debut live performance in the opening months of the next year. Edgy alternative rock fused with ska elements marked the self-titled album the group issued in 1994. Two years later the band launched Indica Records, the imprint that subsequently handled all remaining decade releases, among them the 1996 album Meltdown and Fieldtrip in 1998.
