Gué Pequeno emerged as a pivotal presence in Italian hip-hop through both his individual output and his central role in the Club Dogo and Dogo Gang crews. Beginning his work while still a teenager, the rapper refined his craft over time, shifting from the energetic collective style that defined Club Dogo’s early releases to more expansive solo efforts such as the 2020 album Mr. Fini, which wove influences from multiple genres into his polished rap delivery.

Born Cosimo Fini in 1980, he first took up rapping in 1997 alongside the short-lived Le Sacre Scuole crew. Soon afterward he linked with two fellow members, Jake La Furia and Joe Dan, to establish Club Dogo, later expanding into the seventeen-strong Dogo Gang. Between these two acts they issued eight official projects across five years, establishing themselves as the leading force in the Italian rap landscape. Alongside those commitments, Pequeno joined producer Deleterio on the Hashishinz Sound, Vol. 1 compilation, collaborated with DJ Harsh on a pair of Fastlife Mixtapes, co-authored the book La Legge del Cane with La Furia, and shared hosting duties on Radio Deejay’s Un Giorno Da Cani program, all before issuing his first solo album, the Top Five-charting Il Ragazzo D'oro, in 2011.

His follow-up, 2013’s Bravo Ragazzo, climbed even higher on the Italian charts and ultimately earned platinum certification, propelled in part by three Top Ten singles—“Business,” “Rose Nere,” and the title track—while he maintained an active schedule that included two further Club Dogo best-sellers, 2012’s Noi Siamo il Club and 2014’s Non Siamo Più Quelli Di Mi Fist. In 2015 he moved to the Def Jam roster for Vero, which promptly reached number one in Italy. The following year he and Marracash released their joint album Santeria, which held the top spot for three weeks and featured the Top 20 single “Nulla Accade,” accompanied by the Double Dragon mixtape. Gentleman, his fourth solo project, arrived in 2017 and surpassed double-platinum sales. Subsequent releases such as 2018’s Sinatra, 2020’s Mr. Fini, and the 2021 DJ Harsh-hosted mixtape Fastlife 4 kept his profile rising.
